Help our Sisters in Germany support refugees with psychological and social guidance

April 25, 2018

Our Sisters in Germany are raising funds for the Ambulanz für Seelische Gesundheit (Center for Mental Health) to offer psychological and social consultation/guidance for newly arriving refugees in the native tongue. The purpose of the project, Soul Talk, is to provide psycho-social counseling for refugees and raises awareness on the importance of people being understood. It is being offered out of our St. Josef Hospital in Schweinfurt, Germany. On April 30, 2018 at 12 noon, the Hertie Foundation awards the following prizes to the projects that have reached the highest number of supporters in the ranking and thus occupy the top 25 places:
1st place: 15,000 €
2nd place: 12,000 €
3rd place: 10,000 €
4th – 10th place: 7,500 €
11th-15th Place: € 5,000 each
16th-25th Place: € 2,500 each
Our Sisters in Germany and their colleagues must meet their goal to receive prize money. We invite you to help us help them to receive needed funding. You can donate here. Please be aware that the “thank you” gifts offered with donations are only available for people in Germany. If the site shows up in German please use the drop-down menu at the upper left hand corner to choose EN for English. (The conversion for 1€ is $1.22.) During the donation process you do not have to chose to donate to StartNext Crowdfunding and can choose to have a receipt sent to you. Thank you for your support!
