Redeemer Month , Planting Seeds of Hope and Healing

April 19, 2018

Happy Spring!  During this beautiful season of renewal and new life we, the Sisters of the Redeemer and our Partners in Mission throughout Holy Redeemer Health System, celebrate Redeemer Month 2018 during April.

This year’s Redeemer Month theme, Planting Seeds of Hope and Healing, calls us to renew hope and healing in our hearts as we “proclaim the hope that God offers in the midst of human struggle.”  United in our mission to care, comfort and heal, each of us is called to sow seeds of hope and healing upon our suffering world.

Redeemer Month is a special time of the year when we are mindful of and grateful to Jesus the Redeemer – the One whose name our organization is privileged to bear.  The Sisters of the Redeemer will celebrate Redeemer Day on Saturday, April 28, 2018.  Redeemer Day is the Congregational Feast Day for the Sisters of the Redeemer in the United States, Tanzania and Germany.  On this day the Sisters and Redeemer Associates join in prayer and in joyful thanksgiving to Jesus, the Redeemer.
