The Sisters of the Redeemer and the entire Holy Redeemer family stand united with our Jewish sisters and brothers throughout the world. We hold in prayer those whose lives have been lost or who have been harmed in the violent attack that has taken place at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and we pray for consolation and strength for their families and friends. And to our Jewish colleagues who work alongside us every day in support of our shared Mission within Holy Redeemer Health System or any of the ministries of our Sisters, we express our sympathy, our solidarity, and our support.
We are one family in God. An act of hatred and bigotry is an attack on all of us. We renew our commitment to work on behalf of acceptance, understanding and unity between all people, and to bring an end to violence in any form.
