The Sisters of the Redeemer are excited to host one of their most successful fundraisers, Night at the Races on Saturday, September 28! More than 300 attendees are expected at the event, which will be held St. Albert the Great Church in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
Night at the Races, also known as video horse racing, is an audience-participation fundraiser where actual horse races are shown on video to recreate the experience of being at a real-life race track. Attendees are able to bet on the horses, sponsor a horse, name a horse, bid on auction baskets, and participate in a 50/50 raffle.
Tickets: $35 includes food, mixers, beer, wine, and soda (must be over 21 to attend)
Time: 6 – 11 p.m.
Sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from $250 to $2,000.
Races are also available to sponsor for $150 each. Horses can be purchased for $25 and the owner can choose the horse’s name which will be printed in the event program.
