Thousands gathered Sunday, September 9 at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg, France for the beatification of our Founder, now to be known as Blessed Alphonse Maria Eppinger.
Sisters, Associates and partners in mission from all over the world were in attendance. The joyous Mass was celebrated by His Eminence, Cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu. The charism and spirituality of Blessed Alphonse Maria that witnesses to the greatest of a simple life and the redemptive power of love is ever relevant in today’s world. May we honor her by following in her footsteps.
Locally Sisters, Associates and others gathered to watch the Mass live together. The room was filled with excitement with applause throughout the Mass.
Blessed Alphonse Maria’s Feast Day will be celebrated each year on September 9, her birthday.
