The Sisters of the Redeemer are the Founders of Redeemer Health. This is a community-based integrated health and social service system in Southeastern Pennsylvania and 14 counties in New Jersey, who’s mission is to care, comfort and heal. It is rooted in the Catholic social teachings and faithful to its Catholic identity and to the heritage of the Sisters.
The Sisters of the Redeemer, along with women and men specially prepared for the ministry of sponsorship, serve on the Redeemer Ministries Board to assure the Catholic identity and mission of the System. Several Sisters continue to minister within Redeemer Health. Sisters serve in the ministry of presence by providing compassionate care to patients, residents and the families of the Health System.
